Moncton Catholic Cathedral in Canada

Dedicated to Our Lady of the Assumption, this unusual looking cathedral was designed by architect Louis-Napoléon Audet, of Sherbrooke (Quebec). It was begun in 1939 and completed in 1955.

    This unusual looking building with it's exceptionally high tower reminds me of The RC Church of St Edmund's of Canterbury in Beckenham, Kent. Same period as well.
